CONTRIBUTION GUIDELINES

¡Bienvenidos a bozalta's Submittable page! Thank you for considering to share your work with us. 

We welcome unpublished, previously published, and simultaneous contributions in multiple forms. In your application cover letter, please be sure to include your contact information and the requested biographical information when they are asked for. 

Please note that bozalta has made a decision to move away from a (color)blind review process. Instead, we privilege contributors’ identities, politics, situated knowledges, and life experiences when making our editorial selections. This method seeks to recognize our communities and empower their visions as activists, artists, community members, and scholars. 

Before you can submit your work, you'll need to put your file into a particular format: for TEXT, .doc/.docx; for IMAGES, .jpg, .mov, or a Vimeo/Youtube link; and for SOUND, .mp3 or a SoundCloud link. If you're submitting multiple poems (maximum 5), please put them all in one file. Then click the appropriate "Contribute" button below, next to "Text," "Image," or "Sound," and send it in. You may submit contributions in two categories during a single reading period.
